As a Safety Analyst, you will be joining a dynamic team that is committed to providing a safe and efficient flying experience for our passengers. **Job Summary** The Safety Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Safety team in processing reviews, collecting data, developing reports, following up on corrective actions, investigating activities, and collaborating on various initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aviation safety programs, operational familiarity with flight operations, dispatch, inflight, and maintenance, and knowledge of safety management systems requirements, hazard control, safety assurance, safety reporting, and safety promotion. **Key Responsibilities** * Acts as a project coordinator for Safety Programs * Collaborates with Safety Department Managers concerning safety activities * Review, system, and examine and investigate all reports acquired via the safety reporting system (Operational/Irregularity, ASAP, Fatigue) * Analyze technical data from hazards, activities, and occurrences, and identify, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets * Acts as a safety auditor for the Internal Evaluation Program, Safety Investigations, and accelerated hazard areas of operations * Track, examine, and interpret data outputs from the Company's safety programs * Assist with the management of the company databases for the purpose of advanced airline safety * Assist the Safety Team in any critical investigations * Provide technical knowledge to Management concerning data models, database design improvement, and data mining * Prepare relevant reports and communicate safety-related data to managers and line employees in support of the Safety Management System (SMS) * Assist with the development, implementation, and control of the Company's Safety Management System (SMS) * Will act as a member of the Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) Monitoring Team, oversee flight data collection (including Technical Operations), conduct FOQA data evaluation and fashion identity * Maintains FOQA Database and ensures organization compliance with FOQA guidelines * Assist with the continuous development of the risk identification and safety hazard evaluation schemes of the Company * Prepare studies research regarding aviation safety trends * Any other duties assigned by management **Essential Qualifications** * Knowledge of Aviation Safety programs (ASAP, FOQA, LOSA, FRMP, IEP, VDRP) * Operational familiarity with Flight Operations, Dispatch, Inflight, and Maintenance * Knowledge of aircraft systems, minimum system lists, aircraft dispatch procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations * Knowledge of Safety Management System requirements, hazard control, safety assurance, safety reporting, and safety promotion * Basic knowledge of Crew Resource Management concepts and aviation human factors * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products * Excellent writing skills, including report writing, document writing, and correspondence with regulatory agencies * Excellent verbal, presentation, and educational skills * Strong technical and data analysis skills; Ability to perform statistical analysis and audits **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in an associated field * Previous experience in airline operations * FAA aircraft dispatcher, pilot, and/or A&P certificate **Benefits** * Comprehensive benefits package including dental and vision * PPO and high-deductible health plans * Health savings accounts (HSA and FSA) * Dependent Care * Starting day one free standby and discounted travel privileges for employees, family, & friends * 401(k) match * Paid Time Off * Paid holidays * Life and AD&D Insurance * Employee Assistance Program including counseling for employees and their family * Fitness incentive and Stop Smoking Support **Additional Notes** * Must be able to obtain SIDA Badge * arenaflex respects and values each employee's contribution to our business.
