**Job Description**
We're seeking an experienced Retail Department Coordinator – Customer Service to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our retail team, you'll play a vital role in promoting an exceptional customer experience and driving business growth. **Key Responsibilities:**
• **Create a Positive Customer Experience**: Develop and maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive, engaging, and memorable.
• **Lead by Example**: Model outstanding customer service, demonstrating a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences.
• **Train and Mentor Associates**: Provide guidance and support to front-end Associates, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge in customer service and loyalty programs.
• **Assign Registers and Support POS Coverage**: Ensure seamless register coverage, responding to POS needs and coordinating breaks for all Associates.
• **Address Customer Concerns**: Promptly address customer issues and concerns, ensuring a positive customer experience and resolving problems efficiently.
• **Communicate Effectively**: Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates, setting priorities and providing progress updates.
• **Promote Credit and Loyalty Programs**: Develop and implement strategies to promote credit and loyalty programs, driving business growth and customer engagement.
• **Support Shrink Reduction Goals**: Collaborate with management to achieve store shrink reduction goals and programs, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• **Maintain a Safe Environment**: Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment, adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
**Who We're Looking For:**
• **Availability**: Available to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
• **Retail Experience**: 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• **Strong Communication and Organizational Skills**: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• **Team Player**: A team player with a strong ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors.
• **Training and Development**: Able to train others and provide constructive feedback.
