**Job Summary:**
We're seeking an experienced Retail Customer Service Cashier to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our retail team, you'll be responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate services to customers, balancing cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide exceptional customer service, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs
* Balance cash registers, complete customer transactions, and offer additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws
* Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products
* Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs
* Cross-train in other departments, such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles, to enhance your skills and contribute to the success of our team
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, resolve customer complaints, and maintain a positive store environment
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred
* Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
* Ability to lift 25+ pounds, work in various temperatures, and stand for long periods
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
