As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our Medicare customers, addressing their inquiries, and helping them navigate our products and services. If you're a people person with a passion for delivering outstanding service, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities** As a Remote Medical Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include: * Providing exceptional customer service through inbound calls, responding to customer inquiries with compassion and active listening, and selecting the best solution in an efficient manner * Assisting individuals in understanding their coverages and selecting the right products, services, and best solutions to meet their personal health and financial needs * Identifying additional needs customers may have and helping them to upgrade products or services * Making outbound calls to provide follow-up when needed * Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction * Staying up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to provide accurate and informed support to customers * Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions and issues **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications: * Current Health insurance license in your state of residence * High-speed internet access (>15 mbps) * Minimum six (6) months sales experience * Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy (just as you would expect if it were your private information being shared) * High school diploma or equivalent * Computer savvy **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial in this role: * Bilingual in Spanish (eligible for a higher hourly rate) * Experience working in a call center or customer-facing environment * Knowledge of Medicare products and services * Certification in customer service or a related field **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software * Strong analytical and technical skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
