**Job Summary**
As a Remote Customer Service Representative - Outreach Specialist, you'll be responsible for handling high-volume telephonic traffic with hospitals and providers on behalf of our healthcare clients. Your primary objective will be to schedule or secure delivery of medical records from across the country, ensuring timely and efficient retrieval and indexing of medical records. You'll work closely with our clients to coordinate the medical record collection process, update contact and demographic information, schedule extractions, and follow up on any necessary documentation.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Execute a minimum of 60 daily outbound/inbound phone calls with the goal of scheduling records for retrieval
* Retrieve medical record images from provider facilities efficiently and professionally
* Manage documentation requests and scheduling of document exchange
* Follow up on outstanding document requests that are past due
* Document all communications in our system
* Type and transmit correspondence as necessary
* Process records and documentation according to arenaflex standards
* Provide EOD update and report to supervisor after completing an onsite retrieval appointment
* Minimize interruption to provider office while observing HIPAA standards and regulations
**Essential Qualifications**
* At least 1 year of experience working as a Customer Service Representative (CSR)
* Call center background with a strong focus on customer service
* Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
* Data entry skills with accuracy and attention to detail
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
* Ability to navigate Windows-based screening systems effectively
* Basic knowledge of HIPAA standards and regulations
* 2+ years of experience working in a professional office environment
* Relevant call center experience, healthcare industry a strong plus
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Familiarity with components of standard Medical Records
* Understanding of customer service processing requirements
* Ability to place and receive calls via computer interface
* Experience with call queue management and tracking/monitoring/retrieving information on calls
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
