**Key Responsibilities:**
As an Experienced Ramp Agent (Customer Service Agent) - DCA, your key responsibilities will include:
* Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, in addition to being responsible for timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
* Safeguard Cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather.
* Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
* Operate baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customers destination.
* Maintain a high level of customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and efficient communication.
* Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
**Work Environment and Schedule:**
As a Ramp Agent (Customer Service Agent) - DCA, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with varying shifts, including early morning, evening, and overnight shifts. You will be required to work between 20 and 40 hours per week, based on operational needs and your seniority. You will also be required to work in harsh weather conditions, including heat, rain, and snow.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following minimum qualifications:

* Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
* Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States.
* Have a valid driver's license.
* Proficiency in English.

* Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE.
* Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
