With a strong commitment to patient-centric care, arenaflex has established itself as a leader in the healthcare industry. **Job Summary** As an experienced Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to arenaflex's pharmacy team. You will assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, perform various tasks related to prescription filling, and interact with patients and customers to provide a unique and delightful experience. You will also be responsible for data entry and other administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications * Perform various tasks related to prescription filling, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets * Verify medication accuracy and check for potential interactions * Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems * Assist with scheduling and maintaining work flow * Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to company policies and procedures * Register all related income on assigned cash register and collect and handle coins as required * Assist with stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription drugs * Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly pharmacy department * Comply with all company guidelines and policies * Complete special assignments and other responsibilities as assigned **Education & Personal Development** * Earn and maintain PTCB certification through arenaflex's unique training program and/or state required certification/registration * Attend training and complete PPLs as requested by manager and acquire continuing education credits * Maintain expertise and skills in healthcare and pharmacy, including staying up-to-date on the latest information and developments **Basic Qualifications** * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time **Preferred Qualifications** * Six months of experience in a retail environment * Previous work experience with arenaflex * Strong math skills to accurately fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications * Proficient computer skills * Knowledge of store inventory management * PTCB certification **Benefits** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage options for employees and their families * Prescription savings for employees and their families * Retirement savings plans, including 401(k) plans * Employee stock purchase plan * Opportunities for career growth and development within the company * Paid time off, including vacation days, sick leave, and holidays * Education assistance and tuition reimbursement * Employee discounts on products and services offered by arenaflex * Flexible work arrangements, including part-time and full-time positions * Employee assistance program to support employees with personal and professional challenges **Work Environment** arenaflex is committed to creating a work environment that is inclusive, diverse, and supportive of all employees.
