**Job Summary**
As a Data Entry/Intake Specialist at careerzynith, you will be responsible for creating patient profiles, processing orders, and managing incoming documents in a timely and accurate manner. You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, providing exceptional customer service to our patients and healthcare providers.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Creates patient profiles and processes orders in a timely manner from electronic prescription and fax queues
* Requests refill prescriptions as appropriate
* Manages incoming documents from the fax server
* Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Provides exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
* Collaborates with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
**Qualifications and Responsibilities**
* Good interpersonal skills
* Excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and be flexible
* Good organizational skills and attention to detail
* Knowledge of medical terminology (including sig codes and Roman numerals), brand and generic names of medications, and general pharmacy terminology
* Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information
* Licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
* Basic math and analytical skills
* Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills
**Education**
* High School Diploma or GED
* Licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
* Previous experience in pharmacy
**Experience**
* Pharmacy Technician: 1+ years of experience
* Desired: 3+ years of experience in pharmacy
**Skills/Knowledge**
* Pharmacy or healthcare-related knowledge
* Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, including sig codes and Roman numerals, brand/generic names of medication, basic math, and analytical skills
* Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills
* Desired: Specialty pharmacy experience
**License or Certification**
* Pharmacy Technician registration/certification
* Desired: Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB)
