**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
* Provides exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Registers transactions on assigned sales register, collects cash, and disburses change as required
* Processes voids, returns, delays, discounts, and trades as necessary
* Takes clients to the OTC walkway to assist with finding items
* Maintains counters and retires clean and well-organized, takes stock, and keeps records
* Checks in and costs stock as required or as directed by senior supervisor or shift leader
* Performs tasks assigned by Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Supervisor, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, ensuring data is accurate, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring medication, confirming medication is correct, and checking for potential interactions
* Reports, immediately, prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adheres to Organization policies and procedures related to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program
* Audits and follows the arenaflex Co. Pharmacy Governance guidelines
* Strictly adheres to the arenaflex Co. policy regarding Honest Intentions Dispensing during all relevant prescription dispensing activities
* Handles calls that do not require individual attention of the pharmacist, including those to doctors
* Processes (revises and resubmits) manual cases for external program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and performs other administrative tasks, as assigned by the Pharmacy Director
* Assists and supports Pharmacy Division on stock management activities, such as ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medications
* Maintains knowledge of Organization resource security methods, and records claims for distribution center overages (stock received, but not charged), deficiencies (stock charged, but not received), order errors, or damaged products, including Rx medications
* Ensures compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances (e.g., cocktails and tobacco products)
* Builds and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, and special displays, and finishes resets and corrections as directed
* Assists with division of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by strategies/methods (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves)
* Has working knowledge of store systems and store equipment
* Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital identification photo service, banner print, and creative machine, and sells special photo items
* Takes on web pick-up responsibilities (screens orders in Picture Care, handles orders (pick items), and delivers orders to customers as they arrive at the store)
* Assists with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-organized store condition and appearance
* Adheres to all organization policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with colleagues
* Completes special tasks and other assignments as allocated
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Proficiency in data entry and computer skills
* Familiarity with pharmacy systems and equipment
* Ability to maintain accurate records and perform tasks with high attention to detail
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Six months of experience in a retail environment
* Previous work experience with arenaflex
* Strong numerical skills to accurately fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
* Familiarity with store stock control
* PTCB certification
