We are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are seeking talented individuals to join our team. **Job Responsibilities:** * Provides exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Registers transactions on assigned sales register, collects cash, and disburses change as needed; processes voids, returns, delays, discounts, and trades as necessary * Maintains a clean and organized store environment by keeping counters and retire clean and well-stocked, taking stock, and keeping records * Performs duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Supervisor, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, ensuring data is accurate, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring medication, confirming medication is correct, and checking for potential interactions * Reports, immediately, prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adheres to arenaflex's policies and procedures regarding prescription errors and the Quality Improvement Program * Audits and follows the arenaflex Co. Pharmacy Governance guidelines * Rigorously adheres to the arenaflex Co. policy regarding Honest Intentions Apportioning during all applicable prescription dispensing activities * Handles calls that do not require individual attention of the pharmacist, including those to doctors * Processes (revises and resubmits) manual cases for external program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and performs other administrative duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Director * Assists and supports the Pharmacy Division on stock management activities, including ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medications; maintains knowledge of arenaflex's resource security methods, and records claims for distribution center overages (stock received, but not charged), deficiencies (stock charged, but not received), order errors, or damaged products including Rx medications * Guarantees compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances (e.g., cocktails and tobacco products) * Builds and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, super, and sale stock; completes resets and corrections as directed * Assists with the division of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by strategies/methods (e.g., raw and frozen meats on base retire); for consumable items, aids stock rotation, involving the first-in, first-out technique and restock outs * Has working knowledge of store systems and store equipment * Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital identification photo service, banner print, and creative machine; sells special photo items * Takes on web pick-up duties (screens orders in Picture Care, handles orders (pick items), conveys orders to customers as they arrive at the store) * Assists with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and deliberate store condition and appearance * Adheres to all arenaflex policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with colleagues * Completes special tasks and other duties as assigned **Preparation and Self-Improvement:** * Obtains and maintains PTCB certification through the assigned PTCB training program and state required certification/enrollment * Attends training and completes PPLs mentioned by Supervisor or assigned by corporate and secures continuing education credits; maintains knowledge and expertise in healthcare and pharmacy, including the latest news and advancements **Essential Capabilities:** * Must be conversant in reading, writing, and communicating in English (except in Puerto Rico) * Expects willingness to work an adaptable schedule, including nights and weekend hours **Preferred Capabilities:** * Favor a half year of experience in a retail environment * Prefer earlier work experience with arenaflex * Prefer good numerical skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications * Prefer good computer skills * Prefer knowledge of store stock control * Prefer PTCB certification **What We Offer:** * Competitive hourly rate of $25/hour * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance * Paid time off and holidays * Opportunities for continuing education and professional development **How to Apply:** If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.
