Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for: * Modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including greeting customers, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving customer issues and answering questions. * Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. * Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. * Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, and resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. * Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and arenaflex service traits. * Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, including recommending items for sale and processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. * Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records, and checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader. * Performing duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions. * Reporting, immediately, prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adhering to arenaflex policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program. * Handling telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians. * Processing (correcting and resubmitting) manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and performing other clerical duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager. * Assisting and supporting Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. * Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products. * Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise, and completing resets and revisions as directed. * Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures. * Having working knowledge of store systems and store equipment. * Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine, and suggestive sell of promotional photo products. * Assuming web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders in Picture Care Plus, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store. * Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. * Complying with all arenaflex policies and procedures, and maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers. **Essential Qualifications** * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). * Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. * Must have a strong commitment to customer service and delivering exceptional patient care. * Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. * Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with patients, customers, and colleagues. * Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. **Preferred Qualifications** * Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment. * Prefer to have prior work experience with arenaflex. * Prefer good math skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. * Prefer good computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy systems and store equipment. * Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification. * Prefer experience working in a pharmacy environment, including assisting pharmacists and processing prescriptions. **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent customer
