**Job Summary**
As a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing expert guidance and support on our insurance products. You'll be responsible for:
* Responding to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring timely resolution of issues
* Initiating endorsements and policy changes for customers
* Processing and transmitting necessary information to clients and brokers via various channels
* Assisting applicants and brokers with application completion and required forms
* Collaborating with the underwriting team to obtain information from clients and brokers
* Escalating customer service issues to management as needed
* Participating in special projects and initiatives to enhance customer experience
* Providing expert guidance on insurance products, including billing questions and policy changes
* Actively seeking opportunities to upsell and cross-sell value-added services
* Reviewing and rewriting current accounts to ensure optimal carrier fit
* Maintaining accurate client information and files, including communication and activities in our agency management system
* Staying up-to-date on changes in carrier plans and policies
* Continuously educating yourself on industry developments and best practices
* Building strong relationships with clients, carriers, and agents
**Competencies**
To excel in this role, you'll need to possess:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organization and time management skills
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
* Basic PC skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Property & Casualty Producer's License (preferred but not required)
* High School Diploma or recognized equivalent
