**The Role**
As a Patient Care Advocate, you'll play a critical role in helping patients understand their pharmacy benefits, addressing their concerns, and providing empathetic support. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring patients receive the best possible advice and care. You'll be working from home, using your exceptional communication skills to respond to phone inquiries, document interactions, and escalate concerns as needed.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Help patients understand their pharmacy benefits and provide clear explanations
* Use expert listening skills to quickly identify patient concerns and document interactions in real-time
* Ensure patients are equipped with the best advice and support, addressing concerns with empathy and care
* Collaborate with the team to provide seamless support and escalate concerns as needed
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions
**What You Should Have**
* High School Diploma or GED required
* College degree or Junior College degree with a healthcare focus preferred
* 1 year of relevant customer care experience
* Intermediate to Advanced PC knowledge
* Ability to navigate multiple screens and systems
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Flexibility to work specified shifts and extended hours as necessary
