As a remote employee, you'll be part of a dynamic, collaborative team that values flexibility, innovation, and customer-centricity. **Key Responsibilities:** As a Patient Care Advocate, you'll be responsible for handling customer service inquiries from members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients related to pharmacy benefits. Your primary objectives will be to: * Handle inbound and outbound calls from members, providers, and physicians in a timely and professional manner * Answer questions related to pharmacy benefits, while maintaining productivity standards and performance guarantees where applicable * Work with other operational departments to research and resolve mail order and claims issues, and respond to members within performance agreement guidelines * Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries to continuously improve the customer service process and reduce potential legal concerns * Identify and escalate concerns received from patients and/or clients in a prudent manner, ensuring corrective action is pursued and expedited to address their needs * Adhere to quality and production standards while complying with all applicable company, state, and federal safety regulations **Essential Qualifications:** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * 1 year of experience in a call center environment (preferably) * 1 year of experience in customer service (preferably) * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Proficiency in using computerized systems to gather information and respond to questions * Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working with pharmacy benefits or healthcare-related programs * Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software * Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR)) **Skills and Competencies:** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Proficiency in using computerized systems and software applications * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
