* Typing in data provided directly from staff
* Verifying data by comparison/generating reports
* Sorting and organizing paperwork (electronic and hard copy) following data entry
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
* Meeting productivity and quality standards
* Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless data entry processes
**Key Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent
* Prior work experience in data entry, preferably in a medical, legal, or insurance claims office
* Typing proficiency, with a preferred level of at least 45 wpm accuracy, no errors
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic understanding of medical facilities and med-legal terminology
* Familiarity with billing software (Timeslips) is an asset
