**Job Summary**
As an Online Chat Support Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, handling inquiries via email, chat, and direct messaging. Your primary responsibilities will include resolving customer issues, providing effective solutions, and maintaining our high standard of exceptional service. **Responsibilities**
As an Online Chat Support Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Expressing genuine empathy and concern for your customers' issues, addressing them as if they were your own
* Answering, evaluating, and prioritizing requests from customers with questions or experiencing problems with services or products
* Identifying high-risk customer situations and escalating them appropriately without hesitation
* Keeping up with multiple chats at a time, accurately documenting all required information and chat details in the ticketing system
* Responding to and resolving open issues in an appropriate time frame
* Identifying trends related to systems, platforms, and/or customers and escalating them to management
* Multi-tasking using multiple systems, skillfully changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
* Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, being available at your desk
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* The ability to type 30 wpm with 90% accuracy or above consistently
* Strong messaging communication skills, active listening abilities, and a great understanding of text and chat acronyms
* The ability to work independently and utilize resources to resolve customer issues
* Excellent grammar, but also the ability to know when to use the lingo
* Previous work-from-home experience is preferred
* A strong understanding of contact center support metrics and the ability to implement actions for improvement
* A High School Diploma or equivalent
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
* Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a contact center or property management setting
* Knowledge of property management software and systems
* Familiarity with contact center metrics and performance indicators
* Experience with ticketing systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software
