We believe in the importance of ongoing learning and development, and we offer a range of training and growth opportunities to help you achieve your career goals. **Key Responsibilities** As a Medical Record/Data Entry Clerk/Project Support Associate, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Revenue Recovery Department. Your key responsibilities will include: * Retrieving patient medical records from various Hospital systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail * Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits, meeting strict deadlines and quality standards * Extracting and entering necessary information from/to Hospital patient accounting systems, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality * Making phone calls to Post Acute Healthcare Facilities to obtain information needed on patients, building strong relationships and communicating effectively * Running and creating reports, analyzing data, and identifying trends and insights to inform business decisions * Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by the recovery team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines * Scanning and indexing of documents, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong focus on data entry, medical records, and project support * 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook * Experience with Hospital patient accounting systems and medical records management software * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team * Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or medical records * Experience working in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations * Certification in medical records or healthcare administration, such as RHIA or CCS * Experience with data analysis and reporting, with a strong understanding of data visualization and business intelligence tools * Strong knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare regulations, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and data integrity **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess: * Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain high levels of quality and productivity * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook * Experience with Hospital patient accounting systems and medical records management software * Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and data integrity **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping you achieve your career goals.
