This is a full-time position with a hybrid work arrangement, offering a mix of remote and in-office work (2/3 days on, 1/3 days off).

**Key Responsibilities**
As a Medical Record/Data Entry Clerk/Project Support Associate, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Revenue Recovery Department. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Retrieving patient medical records from various Hospital systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits, adhering to regulatory requirements
* Extracting and entering necessary information from/to Hospital patient accounting systems, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality
* Making phone calls to Post Acute Healthcare Facilities to obtain information needed on patients, building strong relationships and rapport
* Running and creating reports to support data-driven decision-making and analysis
* Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by the recovery team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines
* Scanning and indexing of documents, ensuring efficient and secure storage and retrieval
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* 2+ years of experience in medical record/data entry, project support, or a related field
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and facilities
* Attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on maintaining data integrity and confidentiality
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
* Experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly in Health Information Management or Revenue Integrity Services
* Familiarity with Hospital patient accounting systems and medical record management software
* Certification in medical record management or a related field (e.g., RHIA, RHIT)
* Experience with data analysis and reporting, using tools like Excel, SQL, or Tableau
* Strong knowledge of HIPAA and other regulatory requirements governing healthcare data management
