**Job Description**
As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for supporting one of our dedicated accounts, handling inbound calls, emails, or chat support for a single account. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Gathering and verifying the caller's information and documenting it inside the appropriate system
* Providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and de-escalating situations
* Utilizing multiple systems with your computer to navigate and troubleshoot issues
* Maintaining a quiet and distraction-free workspace, free from background noise
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Handle inbound calls, emails, or chat support for a single account
* Gather and verify caller information and document it inside the appropriate system
* Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and de-escalating situations
* Utilize multiple systems with your computer to navigate and troubleshoot issues
* Maintain a quiet and distraction-free workspace, free from background noise
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Must be able to pass a background check
* Must have experience in insurance and medical claims
* Must provide 3 professional references
* Customer service experience
* Experience in a high call volume environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to deal with upset customers and de-escalate the situation
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask
* Ability to navigate through multiple systems with your computer
* Technical abilities sufficient to install/uninstall programs and troubleshoot your own equipment
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience with Genesys Phone Systems
* Previous call center experience
* Previous experience working remotely
* Basic technical support experience

**Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:**
* Pay Rate: $15.00 hourly

* Benefits-eligible on the first of the month after 60 days of employment

**Requirements:**
* Must be available to train on weekdays
* Training takes place during the daytime hours, approximately 6 am-4:30 pm (PST)
* Must have Open Availability 24/7 to work shifts inside the company's hours of operation
* Attendance is vital!
* A quiet place to work at home with a locked door
