**Responsibilities**
As an RCM Data Entry Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
* **Maximizing Insurance Reimbursement**: Enter billing process data, demographics, charge entry, and EOB/cash posting to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for healthcare practice owners.
* **Analyzing Medical Insurance Claim Denials**: Discover root causes for medical insurance claim denials, underpayment, or delay, and develop strategies to resolve these issues.
* **Interacting with Insurance Carriers**: Follow up on unpaid claims, delayed processing, and underpayment with US-based insurance carriers to ensure timely resolution.
* **Executing Medical Insurance Claim Denial Appeal Process**: Plan and execute medical insurance claim denial appeal processes to maximize reimbursement for healthcare practice owners.
* **Interacting with Practice Owners and Clinicians**: Collaborate with US-based practice owners and clinicians to complete and correct missing or incorrect data on insurance claims.
* **Posting Charges and Payments**: Accurately post charges and payments to ensure seamless financial management for healthcare practice owners.
**Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* **Minimum of 1-year experience in US-based data entry and payment posting**: Proven experience in data entry and payment posting, with a strong understanding of US medical insurance industry and insurance claims processing cycle.
* **Familiarity with US medical insurance industry and insurance claims processing cycle**: In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPC coding systems, as well as CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim formats.
* **Experience with PIP claims is an added advantage**: Familiarity with PIP claims and ability to analyze and resolve related issues.
* **Familiarity with chiropractic, physical therapy, and mental/behavioral health specialties is an added advantage**: Understanding of these specialties and ability to analyze and resolve related medical insurance claim denials.
* **Experience with Vericle software is an added advantage**: Familiarity with Vericle software and ability to utilize its features to optimize medical billing processes.
* **Excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills**: Strong ability to listen, communicate, and problem-solve with insurance carriers, practice owners, and clinicians.
* **Self-motivated and able to work autonomously**: Proven ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines.
**MUST-HAVE Requirements**
To ensure success in this role, you will need:
* **High comfort level working on Eastern Time Zone/US Shift**: Ability to work effectively during Eastern Time Zone hours, with a strong understanding of US-based time zones.
* **Good internet access at home**: Reliable internet access to ensure seamless communication with arenaflex team members and insurance carriers.
* **Mobile Hotspot**: Ability to use a mobile hotspot to access the internet, if needed.
* **Laptop/Desktop of at least 8 GB**: A laptop or desktop with a minimum of 8 GB of RAM to ensure efficient data entry and processing.
