**Key Responsibilities**
As a Manager State & Higher Education, you'll be responsible for:
* Identifying and hiring top talent for our sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
* Coaching and professionally developing our Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management
* Establishing formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
* Increasing sales and broadening awareness of our corporate travel programs and services
* Collaborating with our Business Department to achieve our Business Vision
* Identifying and implementing new strategies to improve our sales and marketing efforts
* Analyzing data and metrics to inform our business decisions
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers and partners
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or communications
* At least 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field
* Proven track record of success in sales and marketing, with a focus on increasing revenue and expanding customer base
* Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to inform business decisions
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
* Experience working in the airline or travel industry
* Knowledge of our corporate travel programs and services
* Experience with sales and marketing automation tools and software
* Certification in a related field, such as sales or marketing
