**The Role**
As a Manager State & Higher Education, you will be responsible for investing in the future of arenaflex's People as they execute strategic direction of the State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts. You will join a team of experienced professionals who are dedicated to increasing sales, establishing formal partnerships, and broadening awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Coach and help to professionally develop the Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management
* Execute strategic direction of the SLED managed travel accounts
* Increase sales and establish formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
* Broaden awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
* Identify, hire, onboard, and train a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
* Collaborate with fellow Leaders in this space to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
**Essential Qualifications**
* 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the travel industry
* Proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic plans that drive results
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
* Experience in managing and developing a team of professionals
* Strong knowledge of the SLED managed travel industry and its trends and challenges
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a remote workplace environment
* Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
* Experience in managing and developing a sales organization
* Strong understanding of the managed travel industry and its trends and challenges
