**Job Summary**
As an experienced Manager State & Higher Education, you'll be responsible for coaching and professionally developing our Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. You'll work closely with our team to increase sales, establish formal partnerships, and broaden awareness of our corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts. **Key Responsibilities**
* Coach and professionally develop our Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management
* Increase sales and establish formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
* Broaden awareness of our corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
* Identify candidates, hire, onboard, and train a sales organization of trusted advisors in the managed travel industry
* Collaborate with our team to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
* Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform our business strategy and drive innovation
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, educational institutions, and industry partners
**Essential Qualifications**
* 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the managed travel industry
* Proven track record of success in sales, account management, and business development
* Strong understanding of the State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel market and industry trends
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic recommendations
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
* Experience working with government officials, educational institutions, and industry partners
* Strong understanding of arenaflex's products and services, including our corporate travel programs and services
* Familiarity with arenaflex's technology platforms and systems
* Experience with data analysis and reporting, including the ability to develop and maintain reports and dashboards
