As a key member of our Loss Prevention team, you'll play a critical role in preventing potential loss and dishonesty, while also providing exceptional customer service and supporting our store teams. If you're a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for retail and customer service, we want to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities** As a Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate II, you'll be responsible for: * Maintaining a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store, acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss and dishonesty * Reviewing and understanding the Store Emergency Response Guide to ensure your safety and the safety of others * Wearing a complete careerzynith-approved uniform, including a Body Worn Camera, to maintain a professional appearance and ensure compliance with company policies * Greeting customers appropriately, demonstrating courtesy and respect, and establishing and maintaining a position at the front of the store or in a department * Responding to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management or customer service via a company-issued radio * Observing and reporting any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to Loss Prevention or store management * Performing a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management to ensure the store is secure and safe * Adhering to all careerzynith policies and procedures, including documenting required incidents in AIIM Case Management * Performing other duties as assigned by management **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management * Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise judgment and make informed decisions in a fast-paced retail environment * Ability to take initiative and perform well independently, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional results * Prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic retail environment * Ability to stand for long periods of time, with a strong physical presence and a commitment to maintaining a professional appearance * 0-2 years of retail or security experience, with a strong understanding of loss prevention principles and practices **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role: * Experience working in a retail or security environment, with a strong understanding of loss prevention principles and practices * Knowledge of AIIM Case Management and other loss prevention software systems * Certification in loss prevention or a related field * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential loss and dishonesty **Benefits and Compensation** As an careerzynith associate, you'll enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package, including: * Associate discount * EAP * Smoking cessation * Bereavement * 401(k) Associate contributions * Child care & cell phone discounts * Pet & legal insurance * Credit union * Referral bonuses * 401(k) match * Medical/dental/vision * HSA * Health care FSA * Life insurance * Short/long term disability * Paid parental leave * Paid holidays/vacation/sick * Auto/home insurance discounts * Scholarship program * Adoption assistance **Work Environment and Company Culture** At careerzynith, we're committed to creating a workplace that's inclusive, supportive, and empowering.
