**Job Summary**
As a Live Chat Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to our customers through live chat on our website and social media accounts. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, and your role will be to resolve their queries, address their concerns, and provide them with a positive experience. You will work independently, using your problem-solving skills and knowledge of our products and services to resolve customer issues.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide live chat support to customers on our website and social media accounts
* Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
* Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a fair and efficient manner
* Use your problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve customer satisfaction
* Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and company information to provide accurate and helpful responses
* Meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Work independently, using your initiative and judgment to resolve customer issues
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, communications) preferred
* 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a live chat or call center environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and use your initiative and judgment to resolve customer issues
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Reliable internet connection and a device able to access social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
* Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
* Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools
* Experience with live chat software and social media platforms
* Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
* Bilingual or multilingual skills (English and another language)
