**Job Summary**
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Junior GIS Analyst, you'll be responsible for creating geographic data for assigned areas, designing and developing custom maps and reports, and providing administrative support to our team members. **Key Responsibilities**
* Create geographic data for assigned areas using MapInfo and other relevant tools
* Design and develop custom maps and reports for clients and internal stakeholders
* Analyze data and provide insights to clients and internal stakeholders
* Provide administrative support to team members, including data entry, report preparation, and travel coordination
* Perform general office duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing office supplies
* Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in geographic data analysis and mapping
* Strong knowledge of geographic data systems and software, including MapInfo
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite
* Knowledge of data visualization and mapping tools, such as Tableau and ArcGIS
* Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis
* Certification in GIS or a related field
