**About the Role**
As an IT Operations Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for managing local and/or remote resources, assisting the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience, and owning the strategies to create that experience. You will help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues, identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement, and set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Manage local and/or remote resources to ensure seamless IT support for Amazon employees worldwide
* Assist the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience and own the strategies to create that experience
* Help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
* Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
* Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
* Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
**Essential Qualifications:**
* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
* 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
* Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
* Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in a cloud-based environment
* Familiarity with AWS services and tools
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
