**About the Role**
As an IT Operations Manager at arenaflex, you will be part of our AWS IT Services Support team, responsible for providing top-notch IT support to our global workforce. Your primary objective will be to manage local and remote resources, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive strategies to create a seamless customer experience. You will be the driving force behind our team's success, setting high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Manage local and/or remote resources to ensure efficient IT support for Amazon employees worldwide
* Collaborate with global teams to define and implement strategies for creating a perfect customer experience
* Develop and leverage the team's knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
* Identify opportunities to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
* Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
* Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
* Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team
**Essential Qualifications:**
* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
* 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
* Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional or military experience
* Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or airline industry
