As an equal opportunity employer, we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences to join our team and contribute to our mission. **Key Responsibilities** As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling property & casualty (p&c) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone. Your key responsibilities will include: * Contacting policyholders from our existing book of business through inbound/outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal * Reviewing and updating policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer * Counseling policyholders concerning appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance * Making appropriate recommendations and/or changes to the policy and gaining policyholder acceptance to process the changes * Receiving and responding to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity (changes to policy, coverage options, recommendations, and cross-selling) in EPIC * Utilizing knowledge of the insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service * Providing quotes on endorsements as requested * Identifying opportunities to apply discounts, processing insurance verification forms for insured, and acting as a liaison for information exchange between customers and insurance companies * Processing changes to policies within EPIC and submitting changes to specific companies, following up with the company to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner * Reviewing policy information and referencing company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims * Mailing insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from the member/customer * Recognizing cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtaining quote information **What We Offer** As an arenaflex team member, you'll enjoy a range of benefits and perks, including: * A competitive hourly rate, depending on experience and salary zone * Eligibility for Annual Merit Increase * Comprehensive Health benefits package, including Paid Time Off (accruals begin on the first day of employment), 401(k) plan with a company match, Medical, Dental, Prescription, and Vision Coverage, Tuition Reimbursement, Life Insurance, and Flexible Spending Accounts * Nearly 4 weeks of paid time off accrued during the first year * Paid time off to volunteer * Tuition reimbursement * 401(K) plan with company match up to 7% * Free AAA Premier Battery Membership **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment * Property and Casualty insurance license required * Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a call center or insurance environment * Knowledge of the insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards * Knowledge of the insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures * Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their careers.
