**Your Role in Our Mission**
As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service to our clients and their members. Your responsibilities will include:
* Answering telephones and responding to basic customer questions and/or forwarding to appropriate personnel and providing consultancy utilizing knowledge and expertise on insurance and healthcare.
* Developing and implementing general insurance and health care policies in accordance with state and federal laws and providing expertise to investigate and adjudicate claim characteristics that do not match policy provisions.
* Responding to provider appeals and meeting with providers to resolve problems/issues. Advising provider review councils, state officials, and working with organized healthcare groups and associations on various medical issues related to insurance and healthcare programs.
* Processing calls in a manner that ensures service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded. Recording calls, processing requests, and updating account history with results of inquiry to include proper documentation.
* Interfacing with team members, management, and customers in reference to customer service issues. Reviewing and recommending modification to procedures and workflow as necessary to ensure efficient and effective processing of transactions.
* Processing client inquiries more efficiently and effectively by reviewing and recommending changes to procedures and workflow.
**What We're Looking For**
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to our clients and their members. To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 2 or more years of customer service experience in any industry
* Knowledge of basic help desk software, computer software, and Microsoft Office applications
* Strong problem-solving skills to bring inquiries to effective resolution
* Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on written and oral communication to respond to inquiries professionally
* Ability to understand your role on a team and identify the correct stakeholders to consult to resolve client inquiries
**What You Can Expect in This Role**
As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you can expect:
* Call Center Hours of Operation: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM. You must be able to work any assigned 8-hour shift between these hours.
