**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Windows Administrator and Automation Developer to join our Web Systems Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the transition to more open-source tools, focusing on Ansible, and driving the development of automation scripts for Windows OS provisioning. This is a contract position through the end of the year, with potential to convert and extensions.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Support the transition to more open-source tools, focusing on Ansible, and drive the development of automation scripts for Windows OS provisioning
* Collaborate with the Web Systems Engineering team to design, develop, and implement automation solutions for Windows OS provisioning
* Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, PowerShell, and other open-source technologies
* Work closely with the team to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity
* Provide technical guidance and support to team members on automation-related topics
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality automation scripts
* Collaborate with the team to identify and implement new technologies and tools to improve automation and Windows OS provisioning
**Essential Qualifications**
* 5+ years of experience in system engineering with Windows Server administration
* Strong knowledge of PowerShell and GitHub, with experience in public cloud automation (Azure/GCP)
* 4+ years of experience writing scripts with open-source technologies, with a preference for Ansible and Terraform
* Proven track record of supporting automation for Jenkins Pipeline and Ansible Playbooks for Windows OS provisioning
* Ability to show examples of script development via GitHub or work sample
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with Windows OS provisioning and automation
* Knowledge of Jenkins Pipeline and Ansible Playbooks
* Experience with public cloud automation (Azure/GCP)
* Strong understanding of open-source technologies, including Ansible and Terraform
* Experience with code reviews and contributing to open-source projects
