**Job Summary**
As a Senior Data Engineer at careerzynith, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data management systems that support our business operations. **Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and implement data management systems that support business operations
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
* Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Windstream
* Design and implement data warehouses, data models, and data access strategies
* Ensure data quality and implement tools and processes for automating data quality issues
* Work with internal and external data suppliers to ensure data accuracy and quality
* Coach and lead junior data engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight
* Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed systems
* Work with sensitive data, adhering to strict SOX controls and change management processes
* Develop and implement data visualizations and reporting tools to support business decision-making
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to drive innovation and growth
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud computing, and web application development
* Strong expertise in data engineering, data warehousing, and data modeling
* Proficiency in SQL and query writing
* Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data quality tools, and data visualization platforms
* Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure
* Experience with containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
* Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts and applications
* Experience with data science tools, such as Pandas, NumPy, R, TensorFlow, and Keras
