**About the Role:**
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines that support our global content distribution network. You'll work closely with our data science, engineering, and product teams to develop innovative solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
**Responsibilities:**
* Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines that support our global content distribution network
* Collaborate with data science, engineering, and product teams to develop innovative solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences
* Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code that meets arenaflex's coding standards and best practices
* Participate in code reviews, contribute to the improvement of our codebase, and help maintain our technical debt
* Work closely with our data engineering team to design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines
* Develop and maintain our data quality and data governance processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
* Collaborate with our data science team to develop and maintain our machine learning models and algorithms
* Participate in the development and maintenance of our data analytics and business intelligence tools
* Work closely with our engineering team to develop and maintain our cloud infrastructure, including our AWS and Azure environments
* Participate in the development and maintenance of our DevOps processes and tools, including our CI/CD pipelines and monitoring and logging tools
**Requirements:**
* 2+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on data engineering and cloud computing
* Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data pipelines
* Experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS and Azure
* Strong understanding of programming languages, including Java, Python, and Scala
* Experience with data science tools and technologies, including Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, and Apache Kafka
* Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles
* Experience with DevOps tools and technologies, including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions
* Strong understanding of arenaflex's products and services, including our content distribution network and our data analytics and business intelligence tools
