**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join our team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our SAP systems, ensuring seamless business operations and exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of our IT department, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, implement process improvements, and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, implement, and maintain SAP systems, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BI, SAP GRC, and other related systems
* Perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as client duplication, system duplication, client export/import, and system refresh
* Monitor system performance, investigate issues, and optimize system resources to ensure high availability and performance
* Manage the SAP Transport Management System (TMS) for shipping changes between SAP systems
* Plan and execute backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems
* Design and manage interfaces and integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems
* Analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning measures to improve system performance
* Maintain accurate documentation of SAP system designs, methodologies, and standards
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies (SOX, PCI, Corporate, etc.)
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
* 7+ years of experience as a SAP Basis Administrator or in a similar role with a medium to large-sized organization
* Proven expertise in SAP installation, setup, and configuration
* SAP certifications are a plus
* Excellent DB2 and AIX skills and experience
* In-depth knowledge of SAP technologies, architecture, and components
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and trends
* Flexibility to work outside regular business hours for system maintenance and support activities
* Strong commitment to maintaining system security and data integrity
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BI, and SAP GRC
* Knowledge of SAP Transport Management System (TMS)
* Experience with system integration and interface management
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
* Experience with DevOps and automation tools
* Strong understanding of cloud computing and virtualization technologies
