This temporary position will provide an opportunity to drive a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying statistical patterns and performance metrics to improve the Quality Control division. As a Quality Control Guidelines Information Expert Assistant, you will play a critical role in utilizing data to create, present, and implement innovative ideas and projects, as well as perform basic analysis to mitigate the risk of resistance through process improvements. **Responsibilities and Obligations** The responsibilities and obligations of the Quality Control Guidelines Information Expert Assistant may include, but are not limited to: * Perform and assist others in the Quality Control group in optimal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components. * Assist with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. * Assist with exploring ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and provide logical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities. * Present insights, patterns, and potential recommendations by utilizing data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding. * Assist with creating and disseminating specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements. * Identify irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and convey findings to the Group. * Assess the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors * Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision * May perform other work obligations as directed by Group Leader. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field) * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with precision and accuracy. * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey ideas and present results in writing, verbally, or through presentations to diverse audiences. * Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in data visualization tools and capacities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, a plus. * Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning. * Willingness to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications, a plus. * Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework, a plus. * Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-focused environment. * Ability to prioritize tasks and be a self-motivated individual. * Past internship experience in a related field, a plus. * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately. * Ability to plan and support large business initiatives. **What We Offer** * A 12-week temporary position with a competitive hourly rate of $28/hour. * The opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative team in the aviation industry. * A comprehensive training program to ensure your success in the role. * Free, unlimited space available travel benefits for yourself (assessments and expenses may apply on international travel). * Access to the latest technology and tools to support your work. * A collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages growth and development. * Opportunities for career advancement and professional development. **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for data analysis and quality control, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
