**Job Summary**
As a Provider Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of provider demographic and contract affiliation information within our health plan system. You'll be responsible for receiving provider information from external sources, validating the provided information, and accurately updating provider records in our computer system.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Receive and process incoming requests for provider information updates
* Validate provider information using knowledge and experience in healthcare management
* Accurately update provider records in our computer system, emphasizing precision and timeliness
* Conduct regular audits of loaded provider records to ensure quality and financial accuracy

**Essential Qualifications**
* 1+ years of managed care experience and/or medical office experience with coding or credentialing experience
* High School Diploma or equivalent GED
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Adherence to Managed Care Organization's policies and confidentiality requirements
* Reliable attendance based on the agreed-upon schedule
* Understanding and compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations
