As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with national and federal regulations. - Use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory. - Model and provide a unique and delightful customer experience, engaging with patients and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience. - Develop strong relationships with valuable customers, providing personalized service and support. - Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, personnel Pharmacist, and store supervisor, including utilizing pharmacy systems, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy. - Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow, reporting prescription errors, and adhering to company policies and procedures. - Register all related sales on assigned cash register, collect and handle coins as required, and assist customers in finding merchandise. - Handle telephone calls that do not require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians. - Process and correct guide claims for third-party prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and perform other clerical responsibilities as assigned. - Assist and support Pharmacy department on stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription drugs. - Maintain knowledge of company asset safety procedures and document claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order mistakes, or broken goods related to Rx capsules. - Assist pharmacists in administering medical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other medical services as required. - Assist Pharmacy supervisor and personnel Pharmacist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, through clinical provider detailing and outreach to healthcare agencies, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for reinforcing growth opportunities. **Education & Personal Development** - Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the arenaflex Pharmacy Technician training program and/or state required certification/registration. - Attend training and complete PPLs as requested by manager and acquire continuing education credits. - Maintain expertise and skills in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest information and developments. - Through completion of the arenaflex pharmacy technician apprenticeship program, experience qualifies for 8 (8) college credit hours as recognized by the American Council on Education (ACE). **Basic Qualifications** - Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). - Must have six months of experience in a retail environment. - Must have previous work experience with arenaflex. - Must have desirable math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. - Must have correct computer skills. - Must have knowledge of store inventory management. - Prefer PTCB certification. **Preferred Qualifications** - Must have previous experience working in a pharmacy environment. - Must have experience with pharmacy systems and software. - Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. **Work Environment & Company Culture** - arenaflex is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment that values and respects the contributions of all employees. - arenaflex offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salaries, health, dental, and vision coverage, prescription savings, retirement plans, and employee stock purchase plan. - arenaflex provides opportunities for career growth and development, including training and development programs, flexible work arrangements, and employee assistance programs. - arenaflex is committed to giving back to the community through various charitable initiatives and community outreach programs. **Compensation & Benefits** - Competitive salary and benefits package. - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage. - Prescription savings and discounts. - Retirement plans and employee stock purchase plan. - Opportunities for career growth and development. - Flexible work arrangements and employee assistance programs. - Discounts on products and services offered in arenaflex stores. - Health programs and resources to support employee well-being. **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and dedicated individual with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
