You will work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. **Key Responsibilities** * **Patient care**: engage with patients, provide assistance with services and products, and resolve customer issues and inquiries to ensure a superior patient experience. * **Pharmacy operations**: assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, including the use of pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information and process prescriptions. * **Customer service**: model and provide a unique and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients with greetings and assistance. * **Data entry**: use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring accurate and efficient data entry. * **Prescription processing**: fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets, verifying medication accuracy, and checking for potential interactions. * **Cash handling**: register all related sales on assigned cash register, collect and handle coins as required. * **Inventory management**: assist with stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription drugs. * **Training and development**: participate in training and development programs to maintain expertise and skills in healthcare and pharmacy. **Essential Qualifications** * **Education**: high school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification or degree preferred. * **Experience**: six months of experience in a retail environment; previous work experience with arenaflex preferred. * **Math skills**: strong math skills to accurately fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. * **Computer skills**: proficiency in using computer systems, including pharmacy software and cash registers. * **Inventory management**: knowledge of inventory management principles and practices. * **Certification**: percent certification preferred. **Preferred Qualifications** * **Experience**: previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a related healthcare field. * **Math skills**: strong math skills to accurately fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. * **Computer skills**: proficiency in using computer systems, including pharmacy software and cash registers. * **Inventory management**: knowledge of inventory management principles and practices. * **Certification**: percent certification. **Work Environment and Culture** arenaflex is committed to creating a work environment that is inclusive, diverse, and supportive.
