**The Role**
As a Senior Mechatronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechatronics systems that meet or exceed product requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Executing the design, development, and integration of complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing applications
* Developing detailed system architectures and specifications that meet or exceed product requirements
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to create innovative solutions
* Liaising with external suppliers to evaluate and select appropriate components and technologies for system designs
* Conducting system-level testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of the systems you develop
* Overseeing the delivery of both prototype and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing
* Supporting your solutions after deployment
* Preparing and presenting detailed technical reports, specifications, and presentations to stakeholders
**What You’ll Need (Required Qualifications)**
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering or a related field, with a proven track record of developing successful solutions
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration, and experience with multidisciplinary system design
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA) for mechanical design
* Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python, etc.)
* Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics
* Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment, with a talent for organization, collaboration, and communication

* Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* Experience with automotive, motorsports, and/or aerodynamics testing

* Detailed knowledge of control systems and theory
