**Job Summary:**
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Enterprise Customer Engineer to join our team and help our clients unlock the full potential of AI-optimized infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with internal Cloud AI teams to identify and assess big-scale AI opportunities that can benefit from AI-optimized infrastructure. You'll help clients leverage accelerators within their overall cloud strategy by running benchmarks for current models, finding opportunities to use accelerators for new models, developing migration paths, and assisting with research fees to optimize performance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Identify and assess big-scale AI opportunities that can benefit from AI-optimized infrastructure
* Help clients leverage accelerators within their overall cloud strategy by:
+ Running benchmarks for current models
+ Finding opportunities to use accelerators for new models
+ Developing migration paths
+ Assisting with research fees to optimize performance
* Work closely with internal Cloud AI teams to:
+ Identify roadblocks and develop solutions
+ Shape the future of services and products
* Collaborate with clients to:
+ Understand their needs and goals
+ Develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements
+ Provide ongoing support and optimization
* Develop and maintain repeatable assets to enable other clients and internal teams
* Influence Google Cloud approach on the intersection of infrastructure and AI/ML by advocating for client requirements
* Travel to client sites and events as needed
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience
* 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure
* Experience building and operationalizing machine learning models
* Experience delivering technical presentations while leading detailed discovery and planning sessions aligned with client-defined scope and success standards
**Desired Qualifications:**
* Experience with education and fine-tuning large models (e.g., image, language, segmentation, recommendation, genomics) with accelerators
* Experience running MLPerf benchmarks
* Experience with performance profiling tools (e.g., Tensorflow profiler, PyTorch profiler, Tensorboard)
* Experience with distributed training and optimizing performance vs. cost
* Experience designing and architecting large-scale infrastructure farms for professional AI use cases
* Ability to interact with C-level or senior business leaders and influence decisions

**Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:**
The USA-based salary range for this full-time role is $125-$175 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
