**About the Role**
As a Full Stack Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading the technical development of data science initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, and mentoring junior colleagues to develop their skills. You'll work closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers through technological innovation, focusing on areas such as customer data science, in-store services, supplier equipment, and supplier data science.
**Key Responsibilities**
* **Data Source Identification**: Identify and extract relevant data sources, perform preliminary data quality checks, and review deliverables from junior colleagues.
* **Problem Formulation**: Analyze business problems, question assumptions, and develop solutions that drive business growth.
* **Analytical Modeling**: Select suitable modeling strategies, develop variables and functions, and conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
* **Model Deployment & Scaling**: Deploy models to production, track performance, and identify areas for improvement.
* **Code Development & Testing**: Write code to develop solutions, create test cases, and validate proposed answers.
* **Applied Business Acumen**: Evaluate business cases, influence stakeholder decision-making, and drive the execution of deliverables.
* **Model Assessment & Validation**: Identify and evaluate model assessment metrics, apply testing and tuning strategies, and ensure testing records are documented.
* **Data Visualization and Storytelling**: Identify and recommend visualization tools, generate graphical representations of data, and present insights to various audiences.
**What You'll Bring**
* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 4+ years of experience in an analytics-related field, with a strong understanding of machine learning, statistics, and data science.
* Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
* Ability to execute projects from start to finish, implement best practices in ML Ops, and clearly communicate with business, product, and application partners.
* Ability to translate complex algorithm evaluations into easy-to-understand language and present insights to various audiences.
