**Job Description:**
As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading large-scale data science projects, identifying opportunities to leverage best-in-class technology and approaches, and mentoring data scientists in the project team. This role is critical in driving the development of a high-level examination foundation that illuminates navigation by applying expertise in both business and high-level investigation displaying strategies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **30% Project Improvement:**
+ Use expertise while planning and creating models and algorithms to use against large datasets to drive business insights
+ Make informed decisions, use, and understanding of cutting-edge analysis philosophies
+ Clearly convey insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical leaders and business clients/partners
+ Effectively communicate the effects of proposals to drive strategy and suitable execution
* **25% Project Management and Team Support:**
+ Lead and manage large and complex projects and teams
+ Provide guidance on prioritization of work and ensure quality of work
+ Provide training and mentoring to junior roles to enhance their technical capabilities
+ Collaborate with leaders and teams in the delivery of responsibilities and resources
+ Support selecting and recruiting efforts for the team
+ Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for at least one data science strategy, both predictive and prescriptive
+ Lead data science networks across multiple specialty units
