We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us build robust, adaptable, and privacy-driven data structures. As part of this team, you'll work with various data technologies like Flash, Voila, Flink, Kafka, and others to create fast, flexible, and powerful data pipelines; write ETL tasks to collect and aggregate data; and design high-quality data structures that enable proper handling of user personal data.

About the Role
We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer at careerzynith, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing data pipelines, data models, and data structures that support our business objectives while ensuring the highest standards of data protection and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective, flexible, and adaptable data pipelines to handle structured and unstructured data
- Develop a deep understanding of the data ecosystem at careerzynith from a data protection perspective
- Collaborate with the data protection engineering teams to understand business objectives and provide data that enables us to respond to user and regulatory data requests
- Maintain and re-evaluate existing datasets and pipelines to ensure they meet the evolving needs of our business

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about data protection and has a strong background in data engineering. The ideal candidate will have:
- A deep understanding of data engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or Scala) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of advanced SQL concepts and data modeling
- Experience designing data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink) on medium to large-scale datasets
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take requirements and deliver flexible data models and pipelines
- A passion for learning new technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends
