**Job Description**
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale distributed data systems and services that support our business operations. You will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to develop data products that drive business insights and inform product decisions.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design and develop low-latency data products that drive analytics and AI models
* Develop highly accessible and reliable distributed data systems and services using cloud-based technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
* Design and implement data pipelines that handle high-volume data processing and storage
* Develop and maintain data warehouses and data lakes using technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, or Hadoop
* Work with data scientists to develop data models and algorithms that drive business insights
* Collaborate with product managers to develop data-driven product features and recommendations
* Develop and maintain APIs and data services that support our business operations
* Ensure high availability and scalability of data systems and services
* Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement data governance and security policies
* Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code is delivered
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related field
* Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, and big data technologies
* Experience with data warehousing and data lakes using technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, or Hadoop
* Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes using technologies such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or AWS Glue
* Strong understanding of data modeling and data governance
* Experience with API design and development using technologies such as Spring, gRPC, or REST
* Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations
* Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* 7+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related field
* Experience with machine learning and AI technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS Lake Formation, GCP BigQuery, or Azure Synapse Analytics
* Experience with containerization using technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
* Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, or Ansible
**Skills and Competencies**
