**Job Summary**
The Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer will play a critical role in designing and operationalizing data pipelines to drive business insights and decision-making at arenaflex. This position will be responsible for creating and operationalizing data pipelines to make data accessible for utilization (BI, Advanced Analytics, Services), working with data modelers and data/BI architects to plan data pipelines and suggest continuous improvement of data storage, data ingestion, data quality, and architecture. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud-based technologies, and data analytics, with experience working with large and complex datasets.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Creates and operationalizes data pipelines to make data accessible for utilization (BI, Advanced Analytics, Services)
* Works with data modelers and data/BI architects to plan data pipelines and suggests continuous improvement of data storage, data ingestion, data quality, and architecture
* Plans, creates, and carries out ETL/ELT processes using IICS (Informatica Cloud)
* Utilizes Purple services like Purple SQL DW (Neural Connection), ADLS, Purple Event Center, and Purple Data Factory to improve and accelerate delivery of our data products and services
* Carries out large data and NoSQL solutions by creating adaptable data handling stages to drive high-value insights to the organization
* Identifies, plans, and carries out internal process improvements: automating manual processes, and enhancing data delivery
* Identifies ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of data management
* Conveys technical ideas to non-technical audiences both written and verbal
* Performs peer reviews for other data architect's work
**Essential Qualifications**
* 2+ years' experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets
* 2+ years' hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter
* 2+ years' hands-on experience with Informatica IICS
* 2+ years' experience working with cloud-based technologies; like ADLS, Purple Databricks, Flash, Purple Neurotransmitter, Universe DB, and other large data advances
* 2+ years' experience in Data Modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing
* 2+ years' hands-on experience carrying out data integration procedures like event/message-based integration (Kafka, Purple Event Center), ETL
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Microsoft Purple/comparable certifications
* Experience conveying data solutions through deft programming development approaches
* Openness to the retail business
* Amazing verbal and written communication skills
* Experience working with SAP integration tools including Bodies
* Experience with UC4 Job Scheduler
