**About the Role**
As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance within your team. You'll be responsible for:
* **Leading by Example**: Motivate and support your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results
* **Safety and Quality**: Collaborate with support teams to develop plans that meet business objectives and ensure customer delivery promises are met
* **Productivity and Performance**: Drive productivity and performance within your team, ensuring seamless execution of customer orders
* **Customer Focus**: Prioritize customer satisfaction, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages
* **Communication**: Foster open communication with your team, support teams, and customers to resolve issues and improve processes
**Key Responsibilities and Job Elements**
* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results
* Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
* Collaborate with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources
* Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
* Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
* Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
* Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
* Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)

**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in a customer service or operations management role
