**Job Summary**
As a Custom Circuits Design Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing and developing custom circuits for our advanced ASICs and SOC planning. You'll work closely with our power group, PD, and designers to define requirements and specifications, and collaborate with our format group to ensure the highest quality design. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the development of our next-generation products, and you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that will challenge and inspire you.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and develop custom circuits for advanced ASICs and SOC planning
* Work with power group, PD, and designers to define requirements and specifications
* Perform plan, analysis, modeling, and simulation, as well as circuit-level design and verification
* Collaborate with format group to ensure the highest quality design
* Create and drive circuit procedures to achieve the highest design quality metrics
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
* At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in custom circuit design and development
* Strong understanding of deep submicron device physics, leakage mechanisms, and technology interactions with device behavior
* Profound knowledge of device noise sources (1/f, thermal), external noise sources (supply, jitter), and their impact on high accuracy circuit
* Experience with circuit and design automation tools, as well as scripting languages (Python, Perl, or others)
* Familiarity with industry-standard circuit and design tools
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in design of low-voltage/low-power custom circuits
* Experience in AI accelerators, SRAM, non-volatile memories, weak/strong inversion circuits, super-low power amplifiers, DC/DC converters, and advanced on-chip sensors
* Strong understanding of device noise sources, external noise sources, and their impact on high accuracy circuit
* Experience with circuit and design automation tools, as well as scripting languages (Python, Perl, or others)
* Familiarity with industry-standard circuit and design tools
