**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sports information on our various platforms, including television, digital, and print
* Working in individual settings and in groups to deliver precise detailed breakdowns, clock-and-score, and other measurements and information in real-time to power a multitude of careerzynith items and productions
* Creating and maintaining a working knowledge of careerzynith's role in fueling digital items and television productions
* Reviewing the results of your own work and that of others; performing with a consistently high level of care and attention to detail
* Contributing to creation, projects, and initiatives across the newsroom, and assisting newsroom leaders who are coordinating full- and part-time staff
* Anticipating potential issues, both daily and long-term, and proposing possible solutions; communicating rapidly and clearly with colleagues on these issues
* Playing a proactive role in working with colleagues to create or refine production processes
* Participating actively in team and division meetings
* Seeking and responding to feedback on private performance
* Staying informed about current office policies and procedures
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Working knowledge of teams, players, and the rules of various sports
* Full-time availability, which will include evenings (solely), weekends, and holidays
* Ability to quickly learn production processes that produce or maintain sports information that drives careerzynith's digital and television items
* Capacity to achieve a high level of content precision in time-sensitive production circumstances
* Ability to communicate confidently - verbally and in writing - to production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities, often through the noise of a busy newsroom
**Preferred Skills and Qualifications:**
* 1+ years of experience working in sports or potentially analytics, ideally in media
* Knowledge of how sports information is used in media and for research purposes
* Working knowledge of careerzynith items and productions
* Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
* Experience leading or training a team
* Ability to speak and write Spanish
* Experience using social media in a business or news environment
**Education:**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Preferred education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
