**Job Summary**
As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data processing related to import/export activities. You'll work closely with our customs operations team to accurately enter data into operational systems, communicate customs requirements clearly to internal teams and external customers, and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Accurately enter data into operational systems to support customs processing, ensuring timely and compliant customs documentation and workflow.
* Communicate customs requirements clearly to internal teams and external customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
* Track and trace customs files; generate and maintain related reports, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
* Verify and process client billing with precision and timeliness, ensuring accurate and efficient financial transactions.
* Transfer customs declaration data from source documents into the customs entry system, ensuring accurate and compliant data entry.
* Assist in verifying and submitting customs declarations to the appropriate authorities, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
* Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies, ensuring a high level of accuracy and efficiency in data processing.
**Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in data entry or logistics preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers, providing clear and concise information.
* Familiarity with customs processes or international shipping is a plus, but not required.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 per hour, with opportunities for career growth and professional development.
