As a Data Entry Associate, you'll be responsible for gathering, preparing, and entering alphabetic and numeric data from various source documents into our computer system for storage, processing, and data management purposes. If you're a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent typing skills, we'd love to hear from you. **Responsibilities** As a Data Entry Associate, you'll be responsible for the following essential duties and responsibilities: * Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into our system database * Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information and resolving discrepancies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution * Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database * Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications * Following data program security practices and procedures at all times * Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily * Performing other various clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required * Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Must be able to achieve 8,000 or higher on a 10-key test. Preferably above 10,000 * A minimum of 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience * Experience in a medical office preferred * Must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone * Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet * Must have a full understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance * Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 60 W.P.M. **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent typing skills with a minimum of 60 W.P.M. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Proficiency in multiple software programs, including Microsoft Office and the Internet * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
